Sekisis is a musical duo featuring violinist Mari Sekiya and her younger sister, pianist Mayu Sekiya.
Having played together since childhood, the sisters share a natural musical connection, bringing both sensitivity and energy to their performances. Their close bond and refined musicianship create a distinctive sound and presence on stage.

Concerts in Japan
Sekisis has performed at numerous concerts and events across Japan, presenting a diverse repertoire ranging from classical music to familiar and contemporary pieces.
Music & More SummerFest in Trebinje
August 2025 – Mari and Mayu participated individually in the “Music & More SummerFest” in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, performing in concerts and taking part in masterclasses alongside international musicians. The festival also gave the sisters opportunities to perform together.
Performance at the Embassy of Serbia
March 2026 – Sekisis performed at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tokyo, presenting a program that included Serbian music. Following the concert, the duo was honored with a special award presented by the Ambassador of Serbia.
